AZM120 ASTM A792M S350GD 55% Aluzinc Steel AFP Galvalume Steel 0.48*1219 GL Roof Panels Stone Coated Tiles Villa Roof
Hot-dip aluminum-zinc coated steel plate is a pre-coated steel sheet created by hot-dip plating a layer of Al-Zn coating on both sides of a cold-rolled steel plate of varying strengths and thicknesses. The coating layer consists of 55% aluminum, 43.5% zinc, and 1.5% silicon by mass. This combination offers the physical protection and high durability of aluminum along with the electrochemical protection of zinc. The material retains the strength and plasticity of the base steel while providing excellent corrosion resistance from the coating. Additionally, the surface features a highly decorative bright silver-grey color with a regular embossed pattern.
Characteristics:
Corrosion Resistance: Zinc is highly chemically active, forming a thin, dense layer of alkaline zinc carbonate film on its surface at room temperature, which prevents further oxidation. Similarly, aluminum forms a layer of insoluble oxides in the air, providing effective barrier protection.
Heat Resistance: Aluminum-zinc plated sheets can withstand high temperatures up to 315 degrees Celsius, making them suitable for high-temperature environments.
Reflectivity: Aluminum-zinc coated sheets have high reflectivity, with a heat reflectivity nearly twice that of galvanized steel. This makes them ideal for use on steel metal roofs, contributing to energy savings.
Ease of Painting: Aluminum-zinc-plated sheets have excellent adhesion properties between the sheet and paint, allowing them to be painted without the need for pre-treatment or weathering.
Coating Adhesion: The aluminum-zinc plating layer adheres well, making it suitable for direct application on advertising boards and general-purpose boards without the need for pre-treatment.
